I closed the yahoo email and now am using jimserac at gmail dot com

Am still searching for information on the original farm that they worked and exactly where it was. Would like to have a location to video next time I go there. So far no success. There must be a town hall with records somewhere going back to the Napoleonic era, I would think.

Thanks!

Hi I saw your blog on the Pannozzo family of Campodimele. My father's family were originally all from Campodimele, though they moved to Fondi some time in the 1850's.
My father was Vincenzo (James) Pannozzo (name spelling changed to Pannozzi when he came through Ellis island in 1907). His father was Salvatore Pannozzo (born 1844) and mother was Rafaela Filomena Carrocia. Salvatore's father was Constantino Pannozzo(born in Campodimele, 1804) and his mother was Angela Rosa Sepe (born in Campodimele in 1807). Constantino's children were Salvatore (my grandfather, born 1844), Michelangelo, Andrea and Onorfrio (born 1835).
Constantino's parents were Andrea Pannozzo (Campodimele 1774- 18??) and Maddalena Pannozzo(Campodimele 1780-1814).

One unusual thing was my father's eye color - it was an unusual blue gray color which I have never seen on anyone else. I have been told that some of the Pannozzo women had green eyes, this I would considered unusual too. Let me know if you see any connections. I'm at jimserac at yahoo doot com
