The universal thought is one of hope and love and entirely "American". True to the hearts and souls of so many who remember September 11, 2001 who have had the advantage of being "American" unlike so many others who simply are not. As difficult as that may be to explain reading words such as these give me strength to know that "America" will be fine. As her people who have ups and downs, good times and bad shall always persevere. Thanks for such a compelling commentary and sending it to me on this day of all days. I shall keep the precious gift deep with me for all the days of my life as I wipe the tears from my face and put them in the same place I have kept all other tears from this date since. A Bible set aside for that specific purpose. Tears of hope and despair. Tears of love and pain. Tears for life and death. Tears for 'our' nation. Amen.
